Account data: your email address, display name, country, language and time zone.

Birth information: the name you give a birth profile, date of birth, time of birth, the accuracy you indicate for that time, birthplace, and the latitude, longitude and time zone resolved from that birthplace. Gender is required; current city is optional.

Astrology data: chart calculations, planetary positions, Dasha periods and transit snapshots derived from your birth details.

Conversation data: the questions and follow-up questions you ask, the topic and consultation context, and the interpretations generated in response.

Payment metadata: the product purchased, base amount, tax, total, currency, status and the payment processor's transaction identifiers. We never receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking passwords.

Consent records: which version of the Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted, when, and your confirmation that you are 18 or older, and your optional marketing choice, timestamp and source.

Technical and security logs: limited operational records used to keep the service available, diagnose failures and detect abuse. Sensitive fields are redacted from these logs.

We use your information to create and secure your account; calculate and store your Kundli; provide the astrology consultations and interpretations you request; process purchases, subscriptions and related entitlements; respond to support and privacy requests; prevent fraud and abuse; operate and troubleshoot the service; and comply with applicable legal, accounting and tax obligations.

Birthplace coordinates are used for astrological calculation. Astrorashii does not request continuous device-location access.

Astrorashii uses artificial intelligence to generate astrology-based interpretations. When you request a consultation, information needed to prepare the response may be processed by an AI interpretation provider. This may include relevant calculated chart information, your consultation question, the topic being discussed and relevant context from the same consultation.

Astrorashii sends providers only the information needed to perform the requested function. The application is designed so that provider credentials and privileged application data remain on the server and are not exposed to your device.

Supabase provides database and authentication services. Resend may be used to deliver account emails. Razorpay processes payments. Depending on the feature you use, information may also be processed by providers used for astrology calculation, AI interpretation and birthplace resolution.

AI-generated interpretations can be incomplete, inconsistent or incorrect. They are provided for informational, entertainment, guidance and self-reflection purposes and are not guaranteed outcomes or a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice.

Your data is stored in a managed cloud PostgreSQL database with row-level security so that one account cannot read another account's data. Access from the application is authenticated and authorised on the server. Secrets and provider credentials are held in secure server-side storage and are never included in the website or app code.

Depending on the hosting region and providers used, your information may be processed outside your country. Where that applies, appropriate safeguards are used.

Account, birth and conversation data is retained while your account is active. When you request deletion, normal account use is blocked while a human administrator reviews the request. After review, personal content is deleted or anonymised and the sign-in account is removed. Deletion is not instant. Records that must be kept for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention or other legal purposes are retained separately in a minimised form for the period required by law.

Astrorashii uses strictly necessary storage for signing in and keeping your session active, and may store non-sensitive interface preferences on your device. Birth details, charts, conversations, Question Credits, payments, consent records and permissions are never treated as authoritative on your device — they live on the server.

No advertising or behavioural tracking technology is enabled in this release. If that changes, this policy and the consent experience will be updated first.

You may request access to a copy of your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your account, and withdrawal of consent where applicable. Account deletion can be started from Settings inside the app, and any privacy request can be sent through the Contact & Support page. We record every request and its status.

Marketing consent is optional and separate from accepting the Terms, Privacy Policy and age confirmation. You can opt in or withdraw consent in Settings. Promotional offers and astrology updates by email or WhatsApp may be sent only while your account is active and this consent remains enabled. Service emails, such as verification and password reset, are separate.

Astrorashii is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

When this policy changes materially we will update its version and effective date, and where appropriate ask you to review and accept the updated policy.
